I got some solid advice on my novel manuscript A Film About Billy. I gave the manuscript to my friend Bill somewhere around a year and a half ago, and I was surprised to hear that he finished it just as I was preparing to submit it to agents. I’m going to have to do some serious reflection about how the advice might effect a rework of the piece, if that rework would be better than what I have now, and how much better.
